There once was a man nobody loved
He cried out one night to the stars above
"Please, if you're there, send me someone to love"
"I can't take much more, can't hold out any longer"
Said the man nobody loved

He lived all his life with a need in his soul
And everyday, hoped it would be the day
She would be there, come into his life
And he never gave up, "there has to be someone"
For the man nobody loved

Love pouring out of him
Always believing
Needing, forever

Maybe one day
Nobody cared, nobody came
He woke one day with a broken heart
Not wanting to live in his lonely world
And so one night, he ended his flight
The man nobody loved
